  • Liquid eyeliner is great if you have a steady hand and want a precise, bold look. Pros: Usually lasts longer, more dramatic, good for the diva-glam look Cons: Hard to apply, have to wait for it to dry
  • Pencil eyeliner is for the novice or if you want to create a smoky look. Pros: Easy to apply precisely, good for smudgy look Cons: Sharpening is a pain, Doesn’t usually last as long as liquid
