Well, people have been grumbling about it for some time now, and today the news broke that “Jon and Kate Plus 8”  is being investigated to make certain the show is following all the correct child labor law protocol. Apparently, someone filed a complaint with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor. TLC does acknowledge the investigation and says that they are fully cooperating with the investigation into “Jon and Kate Plus 8”. However, TLC also maintains that they have always fully complied with child labor laws. 

Although Kate Gosselin and her husband Jon Gosselin have always referred to the show as the family job, I am not sure if it actually qualifies as a job. I know Kate Gosselin has said repeatedly that she never forces the kids to participate in the show. However, I am not on “set” when the show is shooting, so I can’t say what is going on behind the scenes. I know one thing for sure, all this drama surrounding the Gosselin family is sad.
