17 February 2009 3 Comments

Mitch Albom, also author of Tuesdays with Morrie, wrote the heartfelt novel The Five People You Meet in Heaven.  This book encompasses the meaning of life.  It makes each reader think about the unknown, yet significant role they play in the world of others.  It brings wisdom, faith, love, and brilliance to the life of the reader!

5people-meetinheaven-mitchEddie, the main character, dies in a freak accident.  He is then brought to heaven and encounters five people… five people who played a crucial role in his life, whether he knew it at the time or not.  Eddie’s journey truly reinforces the saying “Everything happens for a reason.”

The Five People You Meet in Heaven was a New York Times Best Seller for multiple weeks.  Definitely recommended by Madame Daily.  A+!

Mitch Albom’s ‘Tuesdays with Morrie’has almost the same storyline as Randy Pausch’s ‘The Last Lecture’. Both give me misty eyes….
